TOURS AND TASTING
General
It is the responsibility of those visiting the Vineyard to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
We do not serve any alcohol to under 18s.
We have the right to ask any person behaving in an irresponsible way to leave the Vineyard.
Photographs and/or video recordings may be undertaken for private and non -commercial purposes only. Prior permission for any other purpose must be sought.
Visitors to the Vineyard shall be liable for all costs, losses and liabilities incurred by Valley Farm Vineyards as a result of damage caused or actions taken by visitors to the Vineyard.
Guided Tour and Taste
A deposit of 10% will be payable on booking. You have the right to cancel or change your booking up to 7 days prior to the event. The deposit will be forfeited in the event of a cancellation less than 7 days before the event.
We are happy to rearrange your booking if requested at least 7 days prior to your event.
Bookings are non-transferable.
By booking any Tour and Taste you agree to these terms and conditions.
Responsible Drinking - Alcohol should be consumed in moderation. Alcohol consumption may cause health problems. For more information see: www.drinkaware.co.uk
GIFT VOUCHERS AND GIFT CARDS
If the voucher holder fails to turn up, then the voucher is no longer valid.
Vouchers are non-transferable and are to be used within a year of purchase.
Vouchers can only be used in a single transaction; and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change or refund will be given.
Vouchers may be used for goods or services of a higher value, on payment of the difference
Vouchers can be presented electronically or in paper format.
Vouchers will be subject to verification at time of presentation.
Vouchers can be sent electronically or by Royal Mail. Please state your preference when ordering.
SALES
General
By purchasing from the website or at the cellar gate you confirm that you are over the age of 18.
By purchasing wine online you are confirming that the person receiving the shipment of wine is over 18.
We have the right to request the verification of your age – we do not sell alcohol to under 18s.
The prices shown on the website are non-vatable.
Refunds and Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt of goods. If you do cancel your order, you should arrange to have the goods sent back to us at your own expense. For security reasons we suggest you use a ’signature upon delivery service’. All refunds will be paid within 30 days of receipt of returned goods in perfect condition.
Breakages
We have a no quibble policy towards breakages. Please do let us know of any breakages within 24 hours of receiving of your shipment.
We will happily replace any broken bottles or refund you the cost of a damaged bottle. Photographic evidence will be required alongside courier confirmation.
THE CABIN-IN-THE-VINES
General
We will not be held responsible for any accidents that you have unless there is negligence on our part.
We are not liable for any actual or alleged indirect or consequential loss or any other economic loss suffered.
Rental periods commence at 3 pm on the day of arrival and end at 10.30 am on the day of departure.
The number of persons occupying the Cabin must not exceed the maximum number stipulated. We reserve the right to refuse entry.
Visitors are allowed but must not stay overnight.
You agree to take all reasonable and proper care of the Cabin and its contents, and to leave them in the same state of repair and condition as they were found in.
You will ensure the Cabin is left in a clean and tidy state.
You will respect the Vineyard and its equipment/spaces
You will keep noise at a reasonable level and avoid any risk of fire. We have a no smoking policy in the Cabin and on site.
Parking – no cars shall be driven on the vineyards themselves. Parking is in the designated area and a wheelbarrow is provided for your luggage.
Pets are allowed on site but not on the bed or furniture Dog mess must be picked up and disposed of responsibly. Dogs must not stray into the neighbours’ fields. You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour.
Bookings made through Air B&B and/or Vrbo are subject to their terms and conditions. Our general statements apply too.
Bookings made direct with us
All bookings are provisional until confirmed. Please notify us immediately of any errors. A contract is then entered into and will be legally binding and subject to our Booking Terms and Conditions.
A deposit of 50% of the total cost is payable if the booking is made more than 4 weeks before your holiday with the full amount due one month beforehand. Non-payment of the remaining balance by the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the Contract by the Client.
Cancellation – in the event of cancellation every effort will be made to rebook but if this is not possible we reserve the right to retain the deposit and recover the balance due.
When refunds are due following a cancellation by the guest, an admin charge of £25 will be deducted. If the accommodation is not available due to fire, flood or other unforeseen circumstances the deposit and rental money already paid will be refunded in full without any other liability.
